The National Guard of Ukraine has identified units that will join the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace and will receive weapons through it. These are the 1st Corps of the Azov National Guard and the 2nd Corps of the Khartiia Brigade, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports.
It is noted that the NGU budget has allocated UAH 320 million for this. The first stage of implementing DOT-Chain Defence in the National Guard corps has now been completed. Responsible persons have already been trained in using the system, in particular, they have studied the procedures for selecting, approving and controlling orders. Soon, the brigades will be able to directly start placing orders through the marketplace.
At the same time, DOT-Chain Defence is already used by 180 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the platform features FPV drones, "bombers", "wings" and electronic warfare systems from 60 manufacturers. In the future, it is planned to expand the range and introduce new functions.
It should be noted that deals through DOT-Chain Defence are happening very quickly. Recently, Ukrainian military-tech company TAF Industries reported the fastest deal through the weapons marketplace.
They stated that on November 5, the 100th Motorized Rifle Brigade's unmanned systems battalion placed an order via DOT-Chain. On the same day, the Defense Procurement Agency gave the "green light" to ship the order. That is, only 1 day was spent on all the steps.
