Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law that gives critical enterprises the right to book people with improperly issued registration documents for 45 days, the Verkhovna Rada website reported.
We are talking about document No. 13335 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Organization of Labor Relations under Martial Law." It was registered on May 30, 2025. In the first reading, the People's Deputies supported it on September 3, and in the second reading – on October 9.
The Supreme Court explained that all military-liable employees of critical enterprises, as well as enterprises of the defense-industrial complex, who do not have a military registration document or have it improperly issued, or who are not on military registration, or who have not specified their personal data, are subject to reservation.
At the same time, the The Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry stated that the document provides for the possibility of issuing a 45-day deferral from the moment of concluding an employment contract. However, no more than once a year for a specific person.
During this time, the employee must bring his military record into order, otherwise cooperation will be terminated and the reservation will not be continued.
