- 31 October, 11:02

The first units of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun daily work in the official digital military accounting system "Impulse". This was reported by the Ministry of Defenсe.

Parts of the Military District generate orders for the combat unit in a digital system, record vacations, business trips, appointments to positions, assignment of ranks, and other events related to military service.

"... I would like to note, in particular, the 170th Separate Logistics Regiment and the 33rd Separate Engineering Regiment of the DShV. These units are already forming orders and recording events in the unit on a daily basis," said Deputy Minister of Defenсe of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization Oksana Ferchuk.

The Ministry of Defense added that the development team is collaborating with users, receiving feedback, and making the system more user-friendly.

"Currently, we are working in the "Impulse" testing mode. We are gaining experience, filling out electronic journals, and linking processes. For now, we are maintaining documentation in parallel in paper form and informing the development team about all errors that arise when working with the program. But we are gradually moving towards a digital personnel accounting system," said Colonel Viktor Shchipansky, Head of the Personnel Department (G1) of the Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Military District Command.

The Impulse system has begun deployment with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The system is currently being scaled up to include the Ground Forces.

It was also previously reported that "Impulse" will become the basis for creating new services and developing other IT products in the military to help close various requests during service.
